Delete your account

Delete in the app

1. Open the FlowSense mobile app and sign in.
2. Go to the More tab.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password, type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deactivated immediately. You will be returned to the sign-in screen and the account can no longer be used.

If you cannot use the app

Email support@flowsense.africa from the address associated with your account, with the subject “FlowSense account deletion”. We may ask you to verify that you control the account before we act.

What is deleted

• Your login is deactivated.
• Your first name, last name and email address are removed from the user record and replaced with anonymised values.
• Your password is replaced with a random value, so the old password cannot be used.
• Push notification tokens for your account are deactivated.

What may be kept

Business records you created — such as alarm acknowledgements, job cards, findings, signatures, photos and maintenance history — may be retained as part of the plant’s operational, safety and audit records. These records are kept for the plant owner’s legitimate operational purposes and are described in our Privacy Policy and POPIA notice.
